Even with that big win for the Panthers, and even though they are currently the top team in the standings, the Lightning are still probably the deeper and better team overall. Add in the fact the Panthers were in action on Friday while the Lightning had the night off, and Tampa Bay should be able to extend its winning streak to eight and continue to close in on that top spot in the Atlantic Division.
