We have our first trade of the NHL Draft and once again, like last year, it involves a swap between the Columbus and Philadelphia . And no, it doesn't involve .As first reported , the Flyers are trading backup goaltender to the Blue Jackets. The return price is three draft picks spread over the next two years.Howson confirmed trade: No. 45 this Javon Hargrave Jersey year, No. Devon Allen Jersey 117 this year and fourth-rounder in 2013 acquired from Phoenix in Vermette deal. Aaron Portzline (@Aportzline) The Blue Jackets' need for goaltending is well known and there's been plenty of speculation that Bobrovsky next season, whether it be with another team or in the AHL.Bobrovsky started this season well with the Flyers, at one point seemingly usurping as the starter in Philly. But the season came to a close with Bobrovsky struggling. He finished the season with a .899 save percentage and 3.02 goals against average. Still, he is a young goalie seen as having plenty of Oren Burks Jersey promise despite the mediocre -- OK awful -- numbers this season. If given a bigger role, will he start to reach that potential?I'm sure I'm not alone in that my initial reaction to three draft picks, including a second-rounder this season, was a steep price to pay and Paul Holmgren swindled Howson yet again on a deal. But then again the goalie market is Jason Poe Jersey very, very thin this summer and the Jackets just got a guy who is very young and at an at least reasonable price.Compare it to what the Lightning gave up to get Anders Lindback from the Predators (two second-round picks, a third-rounder and Nolan Smith Jr. Jersey rights to Sebastien Caron for Lindback and Kyle Wilson) and it doesn't seem so bad. This is only the beginning for Howson. There will likely be more moves to come and, po sibly, another goalie coming into the fold. Is Howson counting on Bobrovsky to be the answer?
