More NHL Playoffs: | | | | |Of the many questions facing the going into the offseason, one of the biggest is what to do with the goaltending situation.Will the Penguins really turn back to after he had another miserable postseason, one that saw him get benched in the first round and not get another start? It was the second straight year he was downright awful in the playoffs after good regular seasons.Some would say he's too Alfred Morris Jersey far gone in Pittsburgh, that it's time to move on. That doesn't seem to be coach Dan Bylsma's belief. Bylsma's seat hot? "He's our No. 1 goalie. He's the No. 1 goalie for this franchise and he will be going forward," . Fleury is a guy who is going to come back for our team and be the No. 1 goalie. He's going to be this franchise's goalie."Fleury is going to go back in net and he's going to take the net. He's going to be the No. 1 goalie Deion Sanders Jersey and he's going to be great. There's no question about that. He's going to win a lot of hockey games for this team next season. He'll have that opportunity in the playoffs again when this team gets there."I don't think Bylsma could have been clearer if he tried. It's pretty obvious he sees Fleury sticking around and being the starter next season. At least that's what he is saying. Frankly, it's not up NFL Dallas Cowboys Jersey to Bylsma. A decision on whether or not Fleury will be around will be made by others, though he could have a say. That's if Bylsma is still around himself. It's po sible another coach could be making that decision when next season starts anyway.Still, it's probably the right course of action for Bylsma to take right now. One of the big concerns with benching Fleury and keeping him benched was how he would react to it. If there is a chance they will turn back to Fleury, they had to begin by rebuilding his confidence. That's one of the things Bylsma was going for here.Where does that leave Vokoun, then? He was certainly not at fault for the Penguins' playoff ouster. He played well for them minus one game in the conference finals. "Tomas I don't think is in any different boat than when he came in here to our team," Bylsma said. "He's a guy who Tyler Smith Jersey makes our goaltending tandem a very good one and he's going to play big games for us. Next year he's not going to get that opportunity because Fleury is going to be in net winning hockey games."So it's back to being one of the better backups in the league for Vokoun. Or again, at least that's what Bylsma is saying now. That Dak Prescott Jersey could certainly change at any time, but I wouldn't doubt that Fleury would have the upper hand going into next season should both goalies be around for camp.In five playoff games Fleury had a 3.52 goals against average and a .883 save percentage. Last postseason he was even worse with an .834 save percentage and 4.63 goals against average in six games against the Flyers. This past regular season, though, he was 23-8-0 with a .916/2.39. He has fallen apart when they needed him the most. Fleury has two seasons remaining on his contract that has of $5 million.
